Ambassador Olusegun Olusola (Chairman Governing Board)

Born at Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria on March 18, 1935 - SEGUN OLUSOLA attended the Roman Catholic School Iperu 1941-1943, Wesley School Iperu - 1944-1947 and the Remo Secondary School, Sagamu from 1948-1953.

After a one-year service as Account at ECN - he began his broadcasting career in 1955 at the Ibadan Station of the Nigeria Broadcasting Service and in September 1959 became Africa's first Television producer with the WNTV now - NTA Ibadan in a Television Career that lasted till 1967 during which he created the longest running TV Drama Series - 'The Village Headmaster' 1968, served as Chairman of the Broadcast Coverage Committee 1973, and NTA's Director of Commercial Operations in 1986.

His film production credits included - My Brother's Children 1965, Taiwo Sango 1968, SOn of Africa and Golden Women in 1970.

His broadcasting career included further education at the Syracuse University New York (USA) 1960, BBC Management of Resources Course - (UK) 1974, Pittsburg University Management Program for Executives (USA) 1980, and at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Jos 1982.

On his retirement in 1987 he was appointed Nigeria's Ambassador to Ethiopia and Resident Representative to the Organisation for African Unity and served till 1993 when he returned home to establish the African Refugees Foundation - devoted to the management of the root causes of Refugees and internal displacement.

As Chairman of the OAU Commission on Refugees (1988-1993), Leader of the OAU Zambia Election Monitoring Team (1991), and of the OAU Monitoring Group on violence in South Africa (1992), he has addressed international gatherings on Refugees, Election Processes, Media Development, Conflict Resolution, Culture and the Arts.

He is now:

Alexander Ofuonyeadi (President)

Founder and visionary of Universal Choral Organization, a lover of all facets of music and dance,a Christian, unique Nigerian, a Philanthropist, teacher and educationist, marketer, public relation person and orator, an apostle of peace among youths, a detribalized Nigerian.

Symbol of the New Generation in entertainment, seventh bearer of a new Nigeria, an accomplished administrator and presently is entering his tenth season as President of Universal Choral Organization. His association with the chorus, music and has brought praise from audiences and critics alike for memorable performances he has organized.

He was born in Ibusa, Delta State and educated both in Delta State, Enugu State and Kwara State. He was trained as a business manager, marketer and public relations personal.
Alexander is a graduate of Business management, marketing and public relations.
He is versed in local, national, and international entertainment world and global trends in development music and dance. He has effectively initiated leadership standards at various forms of public endowment and has assisted in initiating ideas, implementing programs in the areas of all facts of music and dance, management.

He has implanted progressive measures and elevated lives by bringing about strategic changes with proven in the areas of choral music, all facets of music and dance enhancements. He has served in many notable management positions in several companies like Estheralex International Limited as an Executive Director and also Chiester International Ltd.- co-owned by Spanish American and Mexicans still serving as a Chairman Chief Executive and Exquisite Global International.

A devoted Christian and married with children, he enjoys sports, reading, worshipping God and involving in peoples and community events especially when they concern the poor and needy, all facets of music and dance.

 

 

 

Kunle Hamilton

Mr. KUNLE HAMILTON is a Mass Communication graduate of the University of Lagos. He is a seasoned journalist who has worked and risen to the top in two major Nigerian newspaper houses, namely: Vanguard and Thisday, where he held various senior positions,
including Saturday Editor and Founding Editor, Glitterati; the celebrity newsweekly insert of
Thisday-on-Sunday.

A lover of choral music, Hamilton is a Christian, a dutiful family man and a widely traveled professional. He holds a bachelors degree in Philosophy and a masters degree in Mass Communication.

He is the Managing Consultant/CEO, VIRGIN OUTDOOR LTD, based in Lagos. He specializes in "creatively breaking perception barriers for companies, individuals, issues, products and services" by deploying deft PR strategies through various communication techniques, including Image and Brand Consulting, Event Planning and Management, Media Relations, Corporate Affairs, as well as Inter & Intra-Public Relations.

As a former newspaper editor, Hamilton wields enormous goodwill with publishers, managing directors, title editors, deputy editors, news editors, brand editors, business editors, society editors, reporters, TV and radio presenters and producers, to the advantage of the CEOs of some financial institutions, marketing companies and manufacturing institutions for whom he
has had the privilege of professional consulting.

His expertise in public and media relations, as well as his massive goodwill in the Nigerian media, is his vital area of strength. He is a much sought after motivational speaker in both religious and secular circles.

 

 

 

Josepha Marquiz (Director International Events)

Muyiwa Osinaike

Muyiwa's dance career started early as a teenager and has spanned for over 25yrs. He established his first dance company in 1985, which he later disbanded to further his learning in 1989.

His professional career was enhanced with apprenticeship exploit at the Hubert Ogunde Production Company, The African Heritage, Agogo Performing Company.

The Performing Studio Workshop e.t.c.He never stops learning as he attended dance workshops all around Africa and Europe.

In 1992, he started Ebony Culture Club one of the best dance companies in Nigeria in that era –and in 1994 Opened The Black Marbles Dance Academy. His vision for Professional Dance Business in Nigeria prompted the creation of National Dance Union (NADUN) in 1995 now fully established as Guild of Nigerian Dancers (GOND).

Muyiwa is a member of the International Organization of Folkarts (I.OV), Council of International Organization for Folkarts and Folkfestival (CIOFF) both UNESCO Status
Quo 'B', Former Director of Production and Screening (National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts), a member of the Advisory Council (GOND).He has worked severally with, Chief Hubert Ogunde, Elder Steve Rhodes, Professor Ola Rotimi amongst others.

A recipient of many Awards home and abroad, he has taught dance as a subject and presented papers at different dance workshop and theatre seminars and has handled several Local, State and Federal Government of Nigeria's project i.e. Festival, Events Opening and Closing Ceremonies. He also engaged in the development of many State Council for Arts and Culture Projects in Nigeria and Ghana.

He has Directed and Produced so many dance and Theatre Plays. And also written Plays like Dance of the Vulture, Mary Slessor, Nma Udoma, Ijapa, Eagle Eyes, Niger Area (the history of the Amalgamation of Nigeria).

Muyiwa is presently working on the NIGERIA DANCE ENCYCLOPEDIA a project he hopes to finish by 2015.
