Ambassador Olusegun Olusola

Ambassador Olusegun Olusola (Chairman Governing Board)

Born at Iperu-Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria on March 18, 1935 - SEGUN OLUSOLA attended the Roman Catholic School Iperu 1941-1943, Wesley School Iperu - 1944-1947 and the Remo Secondary School, Sagamu from 1948-1953.

After a one-year service as Account at ECN - he began his broadcasting career in 1955 at the Ibadan Station of the Nigeria Broadcasting Service and in September 1959 became Africa's first Television producer with the WNTV now - NTA Ibadan in a Television Career that lasted till 1967 during which he created the longest running TV Drama Series - 'The Village Headmaster' 1968, served as Chairman of the Broadcast Coverage Committee 1973, and NTA's Director of Commercial Operations in 1986.

His film production credits included - My Brother's Children 1965, Taiwo Sango 1968, SOn of Africa and Golden Women in 1970.

His broadcasting career included further education at the Syracuse University New York (USA) 1960, BBC Management of Resources Course - (UK) 1974, Pittsburg University Management Program for Executives (USA) 1980, and at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Jos 1982.

On his retirement in 1987 he was appointed Nigeria's Ambassador to Ethiopia and Resident Representative to the Organisation for African Unity and served till 1993 when he returned home to establish the African Refugees Foundation - devoted to the management of the root causes of Refugees and internal displacement.

As Chairman of the OAU Commission on Refugees (1988-1993), Leader of the OAU Zambia Election Monitoring Team (1991), and of the OAU Monitoring Group on violence in South Africa (1992), he has addressed international gatherings on Refugees, Election Processes, Media Development, Conflict Resolution, Culture and the Arts.

He is now:
Chairman, International Centre for the Arts, Lagos (ICAL)
Founder/Patron, African Refugees Foundation (AREF) Nigeria.
Chairman, Ajibulu-Moniya Gallery
Chairman, Talent Associates Nigeria Limited (TAN)
Member and Past Trusties, International Institute for Communications.

He is married with 5 Children.

 

 

Chief Frank Odita

Chief Frank Odita

Chief Frank Odita born on the 12th of March, 1939 in Delta State Nigeria. He attended:

i. St. Theresa’s Catholic School Jos
ii. St. John’s College Kaduna
iii. Metropolitan Police Training School, Hendon Walton Street, London
iv. Metropolitan Police Detective Training School, Walton Street, London
v. Institute of Police Management and Technology North Florida University, Jackson-Ville, USA.
vi. Senior Management Course, Police Staff College, Jos .

He served the Nigerian Police Force for 35 years in Various Capacities as attained the rank of Commissioner of Police before retirement, on retirement in 1992 as a he established a Consulting Firm engaged in Security, Management and Public Relations. He is presently the Chief Consultant and CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of Frankcom Limited and Frank Morris Consulting. He is:

i. Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations
ii. Member, Nigerian Institute of Management
iii. Fellow, Nigerian Institute of Commerce

Chief Frank Odita is also a training Consultant and resource fellow to:

Chief Frank Odita is the Past President, Rotary Club of Kaduna and a Paul Harris Fellow, he was also the Co-Producer and Presenter of Security Watch on AIT (Africa Independence Television).

 

 

 

Dr Barth Asanya

Barth Asanya (Vice Chairman)

Rev. Dr Barth Asanya, a man of God and the General Overseer of Christ the Saviours Ministries. His is a lover of music and that is why he is so much devoted to the development of Choral Music.

He is a director of several notable companies, a virant and successful businessman. He is the present Chairman of Surulere-Lagos Chapter of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN), he also belongs to several local and international Christian Organizations.

He is also a philantrophist and has developed a couple of initiatives to help the poor and the needy, especially women and children. He is married with Children.

 

 

 

Alexander Ofuonyeadi

Alexander Ofuonyeadi (President)

Founder and visionary of Universal Choral Organization,a lover of choral music,a Christian, and a dutiful family. Alexander Ofuonyeadi has exhibited his leadership role in management in many fields, being a graduate of Business Administration and Management.

During his school days, ALEXANDER was passionate with music, most especially with church and spiritual music. Born into an Anglican home and brought up by an Anglican clergy. He has from his early days demonstrated love for music, this zeal must have kept burning in him till when he came up with the vision of Universal Choral Organization.

He has served in many notable management positions in several companies like Estheralex International Limited as an Executive Director and also Chiester International Ltd.- co-owned by Spanish American and Mexicans still serving as a Chairman Chief Executive and Exquisite Global International. He has over the years gathered alot of experience in management, marketing and has a great passion for music and youths development, Culture.

 

 

 

 

Emeka S. Nwokedi

Member Universal Choral Organization Governing Board and Director of Lagos City Chorale, Emeka Nwokedi is an accomplished musical Director/Conductor of National International repute. He has been the director of the musical society of Nigeria (MUSON) choir and the Orchestra as well as musical director of all Anglican Church, Surulere, Lagos. Diocese of Lagos Mainland Organist and Music Director, He has had the privilege of participating in music festivals, seminars and workshops in England and United States of America. He is a consultant to Shell Nigeria, and the co-ordinator of Shell Choral Competition for Secondary schools. He is a regular performer at many important events of national and International status.

 

 

 

Mr Kunle Hamilton

Kunle Hamilton

Mr. KUNLE HAMILTON is a Mass Communication graduate of the University of Lagos. He is a seasoned journalist who has worked and risen to the top in two major Nigerian newspaper houses, namely: Vanguard and Thisday, where he held various senior positions,
including Saturday Editor and Founding Editor, Glitterati; the celebrity newsweekly insert of
Thisday-on-Sunday.

A lover of choral music, Hamilton is a Christian, a dutiful family man and a widely traveled professional. He holds a bachelors degree in Philosophy and a masters degree in Mass Communication.

He is the Managing Consultant/CEO, VIRGIN OUTDOOR LTD, based in Lagos. He specializes in “creatively breaking perception barriers for companies, individuals, issues, products and services” by deploying deft PR strategies through various communication techniques, including Image and Brand Consulting, Event Planning and Management, Media Relations, Corporate Affairs, as well as Inter & Intra-Public Relations.

As a former newspaper editor, Hamilton wields enormous goodwill with publishers, managing directors, title editors, deputy editors, news editors, brand editors, business editors, society editors, reporters, TV and radio presenters and producers, to the advantage of the CEOs of some financial institutions, marketing companies and manufacturing institutions for whom he
has had the privilege of professional consulting.

His expertise in public and media relations, as well as his massive goodwill in the Nigerian media, is his vital area of strength. He is a much sought after motivational speaker in both religious and secular circles.

 

 

Josepha Marquiz

Josepha Marquiz (Director International Events)

Josepha Marquiz is a misionary, currently serving in Kenya has an NGO for taking care of African Street Children.

 

 

 

 

Ofuani Onuora Mathias


M.O Ofuani graduated from University of Calabar with a first degree in Philosophy (B.A Hons) and post graduate degree in Public Administration (M.P.A).

Presently the Managing Director of Globe Link Express Services and Chief Executive Officer 'Pat o@ Foundations.

He is a member of various philantrophic, social and professional bodies and passionate about youth development.

Reverend V.C Okoji

Reverend V.C Okoji

Reverend Victor Chukwuma Okoji is a an ordained servant of God, totally devoted to the service of God was born on the 14th of November, 1951 at Umualofe-Umueze Ibusa , Oshimili North of Delta State Nigeria. He attended All Saints Primary School, Oshogbo in 1959 to 1964, Federal Government College Warri in 1966 to 1967, Awka-Etiti High School, Awka-Etiti, Anambra State in 1970 to 1972.

He also attended Vining Christian Leadership Center, Akure in 1997 to 1978 where he bagged a Catechist Certificate, Immanuel College of Theology, Ibadan, Oyo State. University of Ibadan in 1982 where he bagged a Diploma in Religious Studies. Shasha Leadership Training Certificate in 1983 and a Diploma in Theology in 1983.

His ordinations include:
Diaconate Ordination: 10th July, 1983.
Priesthood Ordination: 8th July, 1984.
Canon Cathedral of All Saints’ Asaba, Diocese of Asaba (Anglican Communion) – 1996.
Archdeacon: 1998 (Venerable)
